Super Mario 64 DS
Anyone else been enjoying this? I just got it a couple weeks ago, and it's like ten times better than the original. Even though for some incomprehensible reason nothing has been done about the viewpoint screwing up at every possibly opportunity without fail.
I CAN FINALLY PLAY AS YOSHI. And throw eggs, fall into bottomless pits, and set Luigi on fire because I just plain don't like him. :D Current Mood: cheerful

DSi Info Update...
Was cruising Kotaku.com this morning when I ran across some information on the DSi that's coming out.
The bad news: DSi will be region locked
DS games aren't locked, but any DSi games (downloaded or cartridge based) will be. Just an FYI for folks who might have been pondering getting an import DSi. Current Mood: annoyed

The Way of the Ninja
You are a ninja in N+. Your god-like speed, dexterity, jumping power, and reflexes are all the result of an amazingly fast metabolism; sadly, so is your natural lifespan of 1.5 minutes.
Like all Ninjas, you have an unquenchable thirst for gold and a natural propensity for exploring rooms infested by increasingly lethal Ninja-killing robots. N emphasizes pacifism, humility, and the need to traverse 5 rooms before the end of your lifetime; a feat known only as 'beating an episode'.
In accordance with the teachings of N, it is your profound hope that one day you will develop your platforming skills, intelligence, and inexplicable ability to reincarnate to achieve total mastery of all 300 levels.

Hold off on buying a DS Lite!
(cross posted with minor edits from my journal)
Last night Nintendo announced the DSi, a new version of the Nintendo DS that deletes the GBA slot (and functionality) and adds a camera and SD slot. The new features are of questionable usefulness (no mention of SDHC compatibility, and only AAC support, no mp3) when compared to the GBA slot, and Nintendo has decided to pull a nasty move in respect to marketing: the DSi will NOT see a US release untill next year because Nintendo is hoping to sell more Lites during the US holiday shopping season.
So if you were planning on upgrading from a "Phat" to a Lite or were considering a holiday purchase for someone else, I would wait until the DSi is out. Not to get the latest model, but to sabotage the big N's plans, and also hold out for a price drop in the Lite. Current Mood: annoyed

New gamer furries community...
So in looking around, I've seen a lot of communities devoted to niche gamer fur communities, but since gamerfurs
was deleted and purged, we've not really had a place to come together and network across genres, so I made gamerfurries
to fill that void.
Come, join us!

(NOTE: If this type of post isn't allowed here, please let me know)
I've got a DS game, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, on eBay right now, perfect condition and brand new.
Also, if you are near the MS Gulf Coast or Perkinston/Wiggins, then I can reduce the shipping, or even remove it!
Here is the link if anyone is interested: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=140226293004&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
Happy gaming, and have a nice day!

Bad Ebay seller
1st this isnt about a DS issue so if its not allowed and is to be deleted its ok.
Recently my fiance purchased a gamecubegame from ebay. The seller stated in the auction that it had been played once but was mint and scratch free. My fiance is a collector of older games so this fact is very important to him. He bought the game.
It took much longer to arrive that had been expected and when it did arrive the seller had put it in a plain envelope, no padding at all. The packaging was damaged and when he opened it the case to the game was crushed and the game had been out of the clasp inside it so it was sctatched very badly. Upon examination of the game there were clearly 2 sets of scratches. one set new from the shipping and an older set from being played with, definatly not the mint he originally stated.
My fiance promptly contacted the seller about the issue. No reply came. He later emailed again. My fiance against my advise left neutral feedback for the seller before the issue was worked out. Well 2 Days ago he got a reply from the seller and was cussed out, the seller screaming at him about what did he expect for paying less thant 20.00 for a game that normally sold for much more. This was not a buy it now auction. So IMO the seller was mad he didnt get more for the game. The Seller not only left negative feedback but advised other sellers "not to sell to this cry baby".
Other than a mutual feedback with drawal is there anyway my fiance can clear this negative from his otherwise flawless 7yrold ebay account(he has 21 entries of feedback)? The seller, we believe will not go for the mutual withdrawal as he showed obviously he didnt care about the neutral as it didnt effect his over all rating.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you
the Ebay sellers name is He_man111.

Sparing a long intro, Im a 25 year old gamer leopardess from California. I am an artist, writer, bellydancer, web designer, 3D animator and jewelry/crafts person among other things. My interests spread far and wide but I have not deviated from videogaming since I got my first game system at age 14.
I recently got a DS last Xmas. Since then, I have only 2 games that really have good use for the WiFi function--Animal Crossing and my newest, Pokemon Diamond. I do not play Animal Crossing as much anymore and now Pokemon has sort of dominated my DS for the most part (poor Mario, Luigi and that Brain guy!). Sadly I am fully aware that I might of missed the Pokemon boat because of how late into things I am in acquiring the game (this is the story of my life. "Rainy day" money just does not come so easily to me.).
Still, I would be curious to know who here plays those two games (Animal Crossing and Pokemon). I do not have any fur gamers that I network with so that would be a nice change.
Hope to meet more of you. Current Mood: awake

If you guys haven't seen it I suggest ya check out Drawn to life. IT ROCKS!! You draw your own hero(and some componants of the game) and set forth to dispell the darkness.( Zorse to the rescueCollapse )
Yes, I do suck at drawing. And yes the populus is furry, tho they lack tails they do have cute little ears.

Battles and Wood!
Its as simple as it claims.
I have about twenty-five (25) or so Sudowoodo that I egg'd, and I don't want to just release them to the wild. I'll take just about anything for them, as I'm collecting Trainer ID's.
I'm also starting to get involved with Wi-Fi battling and looking for a few others to tangle with. Haven't decided on what days I'll be on all the time, but Sundays between 1 and 3AM EST are given.
If interested in either, just leave a comment here along with your Friend Code and the name. Here's mine:

DS Lite Question
I was curious if anyone else with a DS Lite had issues walking around in Animal Cross:WW, using the D-Pad. For some reason, it seems to be a lot more annoying to walk around with the D-Pad on my new Red/Black DS Lite than my old Red DS. Was curious if it was just an issue with the game, or is it an issue with my new DS? Walking up and right with the D-pad makes me usually walk either straight right or up and so I end up struggling with the controls.
I haven't tried too many other games but its really noticable on AC.
